For a number of years now ALPHA courses based on the Bible teaching of the "Meaning of Life" have been run in Monmouth with the support of Churches Together in Monmouth.

This year there will be a different course entitled "CHRISTIANITY EXPLORED" which is based on St Mark's Gospel and offers everyone the chance to explore three questions that cut right to the heart of Christianity:- Who was Jesus? Why did he come? What does it mean to follow him?

The course will last 10 weeks and will be a series of 2 hour sessions once a week. Depending on numbers, these will be in small groups at different locations around Monmouth, and will be on different days and times so that participants can choose a session most convenient for them.

Each session will consist of the viewing of short DVD's, filmed at locations all over the world, and of group discussions where you can ask any questions that you want. You will not be asked to pray, sing or read out loud and everything is very informal. It is also free.

For further information please telephone Mike on 01600 715689 or go on the Christianity Explored website:- www.christianityexplored.org.
