On Saturday 6th March Rev`d Dr John Polkinghorne will give three talks at Ty Mawr Convent on the subject of `Science and Faith`. The three talks will be entitled
- An Intelligent Universe
- Can a scientist pray?
- Can we believe in a destiny beyond death?
John Polkinghorne is a world-renowned scientific scholar, the only ordained Anglican Priest to also be a member of the Royal Society. He has been described as having a great gift for communicating complex information in a way that is easy to understand and follow.
The day begins at 10.30 am and finishes at 4.30 pm. Each Talk will be followed by a discussion. All are welcome and there is no charge, though donations to cover costs are always welcome.
