Most of us, at some time, have known both the sadness of 'falling
out' and the happiness of 'making up'. Broken relationships hurt, whether
in families and communities or between nations, but reconciliation
brings joy and peace. Mending broken relationships, however, calls
for love and sacrifice.
This is what Easter is all about. The death
and resurrection of Jesus mean that our relationship with God can
be restored and we can live a new, and eternal, life with Him. As
Paul put it, ''God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself" (2
Corinthians 5:19), while John explained that anyone who receives
Jesus becomes a child of God - a restored relationship (John 1:12).
The churches of Monmouth invite you to remember the death and resurrection
of Jesus Christ and celebrate this restored relationship, and extend
a warm welcome to all to the services below.
